Acrylic Partials

Pow Laboratories offers a variety of Removable Partial Options to assist your patient in maintaining a beautiful, healthy, functional smile. Below we have detailed options including tempi and healing partial options as well as traditional acrylic partials, and cast partial dentures. Acrylic Partials

 
 

Tempi Partials

  • This prosthesis is used as a temporary denture for implant healing, surgery or trauma.

  • Generally this is a 1 or 2 tooth denture but can be done with more teeth.

  • A tempi denture can be fabricated in less time than a regular acrylic partial.

  • Wrought wire clasping is recommended.

  • This partial will require a reline after the extraction has healed or at that time a permanent replacement will need to be fabricated.

  • Three-month warranty.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Cost effective teeth used: Kulzer Basic Teeth, Ivostar and Gnathostar (Vitapan shades are required for tooth selection).

  • Alginate impressions are recommended.

  • Dentures are finished using Ivocap SR acrylic or Lucitone 99.

  • Turn around time is 2 days in lab.

 
 
 
 

Healing Partials

  • Recommended when 3 or more teeth are being replaced.

  • This type of partial is fabricated before the teeth are extracted and is meant to be inserted immediately following surgery.

  • Wrought wire clasping is recommended.

  • This partial will require a reline after the extraction site has healed.

  • Three-month warranty.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Cost effective teeth used: Kulzer Basic Teeth, Ivostar and Gnathostar (Vitapan Shades are required for tooth selection).

  • This is a permanent partial solution using premium teeth.

  • Recommended clasping options include:
    Wrought wire, gold wire, cast clasps and rests, Versacryl clear or pink clasps, DuraFlex clasps, VisiClear, Acetyl Resin clasping or Cu-Sil gaskets (soft, flexible gaskets ideal for preserving existing dentition).

  • Two year warranty.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Premium teeth are used including your choice of Dentsply, Ivoclar, Vident, or Vitapan.

  • Full contour alginate impressions are recommended for best results.

  • Finish options can be chosen from Ivocap SR acrylic, Lucitone 199 or Duraflex materials.

  • Turn around time is 4 days in lab.
